Did you know that the one to blame for the Trojan War was also the Goddess of discord, strife and chaos Eris? While she wallows in infamy, the Trojan armor helmet has basked in its popularity. The Trojan armor helmet gains much exposure from its use by University of Southern California_s Trojan Marching Band. In USC_s version of the costume, the armor helmet is bronze and the plume is red in color. In medieval Greece, the black plume was as popular specially when matched with a black and bronze helmet. The ancient Greeks were of the belief that the Trojan War actually took place in the 13th or 12th century BC somewhere in modern-day Turkey. In the advent of the modern times, both the city and the supposed war were widely believed to be fictional. Make sure that when you attend a costume party sponsored by students or alumni of USC, you come wearing something like this and blend in with the crowd. Important Features:
